US Singer D4vd Arrested Over Alleged Murder of Teen

US singer D4vd has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a teenage girl who went missing last year, according to authorities.

The 21-year-old artist, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department and is currently being held without bail. Police confirmed that the case will be presented to the District Attorney’s office on Monday.

The arrest follows a grand jury investigation into the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Her remains were discovered on September 8, 2025, in a Tesla vehicle linked to the singer, after authorities responded to reports of a foul odour at a Hollywood tow yard.

Court documents revealed that the decomposed head and torso of the teenager were found in a cadaver bag inside the front compartment of the car.

Police said Burke had previously been largely silent on the matter, though his representatives stated he had been cooperating with investigators.

The case has drawn significant public attention as authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s death.
