Reason Revealed Why Two Maktown Flyers Players Are Missing BAL Preparations

The Maktown Flyers will be without two members of their squad as they continue preparations for their Basketball Africa League (BAL) debut in the Sahara Conference.

The club has confirmed that veteran center Chris Obekpa and forward Chingka Garba will both be unavailable for team activities due to personal reasons.

Their absence comes at a crucial stage in the Flyers’ buildup, as the team fine-tunes its roster and chemistry ahead of the continental competition set to begin on April 24, 2026.
