JAMB Releases Over 1.2 Million Additional 2026 UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released another batch of results for candidates who sat the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), covering those who wrote on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.

In a statement issued on Sunday by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board confirmed that 1,264,940 results from the two days have been processed and made available to candidates.

This latest release adds to the earlier 632,752 results from candidates who sat for the exam on Thursday, April 16, bringing the total number of results released so far to 1,897,692.

According to the board, candidates are to check their results using the official SMS channels by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their registration.

JAMB noted that the released results represent the first three days of the nationwide examination, which began on April 16 and is expected to involve over two million candidates across accredited computer-based test centres.

The board reiterated its commitment to a transparent and efficient examination process, urging candidates to follow official channels when accessing their results.
