EXCLUSIVE! Maktown Flyers Add 7-Foot Center David Ugonna Ahead of BAL Sahara Conference

The Maktown Flyers have strengthened their roster ahead of their Basketball Africa League (BAL) Sahara Conference debut with the addition of 7-foot center David Ugonna.

Ugonna, who joins the team as a BAL Elevate player, is expected to link up with the squad in Morocco as they prepare for the highly competitive group stage of the tournament.

Standing at 7'0, the young center brings size, rim protection, and interior presence to a Flyers team looking to make a strong impression in their first-ever BAL appearance. His arrival adds another layer of depth to an already reinforced squad built for continental competition.

The Maktown Flyers will head into the Sahara Conference with high expectations following their rise from domestic champions to BAL debutants, as they aim to compete against some of Africa’s strongest basketball clubs.
